Antero Platform

Overview

Antero is the internal operations platform used daily by a cargo network handling 17,000+ shipments per month. It consolidates shipment, pickup, manifest, delivery, POD, and finance workflows — previously spread across fragmented processes — into one Next.js platform with a Supabase/PostgreSQL data layer, custom RBAC + MFA auth, integrations into accounting and external services, a PWA surface with push notifications and in-browser scanning, and an Executive Analyst agent built on LangGraph that answers operational questions over real data.

Problem

Logistics operations spanning shipment, pickup, manifest, delivery, POD, and finance were spread across fragmented workflows that needed a shared system.

Solution

A centralized internal platform that consolidates operational workflows and gives the team visibility into shipment, manifest, delivery, and finance data, with integrations into external systems — plus an AI analyst that lets staff query operations in natural language.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains operational modules across the shipment lifecycle
• Designed the custom RBAC + MFA layer on cookie-session/JWT auth
• Built the Executive Analyst — a LangGraph agent answering operational questions over real data
• Integrated external systems — Accurate Online accounting, OBL, MaxMind GeoIP
• Keeps quality gates green — Playwright E2E, Vitest, k6 load tests, Lighthouse CI

Technical Decisions

• Visibility over novelty: Operations staff needed a trustworthy shared view of shipments and finance first; optimizations were added where they were safe.
• AI as analyst, not operator: The Executive Analyst answers questions over operational data — mutations still go through explicit, auditable workflows.
• Postgres-first access control: Supabase RLS plus a direct pg pool and explicit migrations keep data access enforced at the database, not just the API.
• Sanitized public material: Screenshots are redacted — the platform handles live operational data that cannot be shown publicly.
